The primary objective of the EDS Family is to harness the power of dance video projects and captivating stage performances to inspire and drive personal growth. Through dedicated team training, enthusiastic class participation, and diligent routine practices, we are dedicated to assisting each member in unlocking their true potential as a dancer, taking them to new heights in their dance journey.

This year, we are excited to introduce three sub-teams: K-Pop, Heels, Chinese Fusion.

Each group will be guided by dedicated leaders with focused training. To ensure fairness and efficiency in scoring, audition times will be scheduled according to the dance group you wish to join, as follows:

Chinese Fusion (风华录)

Team Expectations

Fenghualu Crew represents a new frontier of cultural fusion at Enjoy Dance Studio. We aim to bring together dancers who are passionate about sharing Chinese culture through movement, while embracing the versatility of jazz, hip-hop, and other modern styles.

Heels

EDS Heels Team is a passionate and driven heels dance team dedicated to empowerment and growth. Heels isn’t just walking pretty—it’s strength, control, and attitude wrapped in artistry. Our mission is to cultivate a supportive, inspiring space for dancers to push their limits and shine individually and collectively.

Team Vision

For the upcoming season, the EDS Heels Team features a new structure built for both inclusive growth and performance excellence. The Main Team focuses on strengthening foundational technique, body control, and confidence, with opportunities to participate in team video projects and live performances. For dancers seeking an advanced challenge, our Exhibition Team within the main team demands higher technical skill and commitment, dedicated to delivering polished, high-level showcases at bigger stages.

Team Commitments

• Training & Class Attendance: Active participation in regular classes and workshops, plus mandatory weekly team training (focusing on foundations, body conditioning, flexibility, and choreography).

• Performances & Video Projects: Commitment to team video projects and live performances—including rehearsals, filming, and active support on set.

Heels Sub-team Audition Details:

• 45s - 1 min solo in stiletto heels

• Choreo learning on site

  *Exhibition team candidates will be evaluated against higher performance and technical standards.

Kpop

EDS Family’s K-pop Subgroup is dedicated to celebrating K-pop culture through performance, community, and connection. Its mission is to bring together dancers who share a love for K-pop, consistently challenge themselves through dance covers, and contribute to the local K-pop events while having fun along the way.

Focus on dance covers & performances:

• Produce high-quality Dance Covers projects and live performances.

• Active participation in local K-pop events

• Collaboration, teamwork, and fun

• Growth in dance skills + community connection

Team Commitments:

• Attend at least 1 full K-pop dance cover project per quarter.

• Regularly participate in K-pop classes, EDS events, and internal/external performances.

• Contribute to EDS-hosted events, including helping with planning, organizing, and supporting events such as K-pop Random Dance and K-pop Cover Competitions.

KPOP Sub-team Audition Details:

• 1 minute KPOP Solo

  Each dancer may audition for up to TWO sub-teams.

Scoring Criteria

Each sub-team’s scoring criteria will be set and announced by its leader, covering aspects such as body awareness, textures, musicality, control, performance, and creativity.
